My wife and I have had meals at this location a number of times, and taken family there as well. We've never been disappointed. The food is very good, the tea selection terrific (try the iced tea, usually made with a good British selection). Our experience with the staff has been very different than the other review listed. The owner/chef has come out to our table to talk, and his wife is delightful and helpful. They no longer have a store in the front (it has been changed to a pub) but she has offered to order European favorites of ours we used to buy there even though they no longer stock them.We go back whenever we can.

The owner and staff are extremely friendly, the food is great and reasonably priced, and you have your choice of dining experience: either the tea room or the pub, which features four flat-screen TVs tuned to a soccer network. A must-visit!

The owner is extremely rude. We have only visited this tea shop twice - and on both occasions the owner shouted at a customer. The food is mediocre and the service is very bad - it took almost 45 minutes for our starter to arrive.
