Dr. David Shepard, MD has joined the cancer team of Northwest Georgia Oncology Centers (NGOC). He earned his Medical Degree from the Indiana University, School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr. Shepard completed his internal medicine residency at St. Vincent Hospital, in Indiana. His fellowship in hematology / oncology was completed at the Comprehensive Cancer Center of the University of Michigan. He is board certified in medical oncology and hematology. Dr. Shepard is recognized as one of the Top Doctors for excellence in Hematology and Oncology, in the Atlanta Magazine in 2020,2021,2022 and has been named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor of Atlanta for 2023. Dr. Shepard provides patient-centered care at NGOCâ??s Viningâ??s Cancer Center.
