I had to drive up from Virginia to pick up my son's jeep that he left behind because it was making a grinding noise. He had to return to work in CT and did not have time to find someone to fix it.I found this small place not knowing anything about the area. I left it with Jack Friday and he said he couldnt look at it until Monday. I told him I thought it was a U-Joint and told him and I couldnt get back up for a week. He looked at it on Monday, diagnosed the front differential pinion bearing and said he was not equipped to do the job but that I should take it to a dealer. My son contacted him a week later about the cost and picking up the vehicle and Jack said my son owed him nothing, that he would need the money for the repair. I used to work as a mechanic and I can tell you that you dont get free work like this anymore. It takes a bit of time to put something on the rack and look around. My hats off to Jack
