Smiths Station High School is a public school serving the educational needs of students in grades nine through 12. The school has an enrollment of more than 1,500 students and is a part of the Lee County School District 12. It teaches various subjects, including English, mathematics, American history, science and technology, French, Spanish, computer science, health education and physical education. It has athletic teams for several sports, including baseball, basketball, cheerleading, softball, football, golf, volleyball, soccer, track, cross country and wrestling. The school provides opportunities to students to participate in various clubs and organizations, including French club, National Honor Society, newspaper, Society of Physics, Rotary Youth Club, student council and yearbook. It also publishes an internal magazine called Social Studies Blitz. Smiths Station High School is located in Smiths Station, Ala.
