My boyfriend ate here today and told me the food was amazing. I called this restaurant at 8:50pm and they told me they were closed although on their menu as well as all over the internet it says they close at 9:30. Every time I called to talk to an associate, repeatedly I got hung up on. I called back to speak to a manager and once again I was hung up on! I don’t care how good this food is, they have given absolute horrible customer service already! I’m sitting outside of their door waiting to talk to management.

I am still here and the associates are waving us to leave and won’t open the door threatening to call the police if we don’t leave. I haven’t got rowdy or out of character I would simply like to talk to management about how I was treated tonight.

The manager just now came to the door and listened to our concern, said that she would address it and offered for us to come tomorrow and eat at a discounted price. I do appreciate the manager’s gesture but this experience really put a disgusting taste in mouth. Whether the food is good or not.

The place doesn't look like much, but don't let that stop you. The service is very kind though, and the food is so good! A nice surprise for Slidell.

Thai Orchid is a delicious one of a kind menu in Slidell. We go there for dinner at least once a week. The service is warm and inviting.

That's it: good food, but very cold and somewhat slow service. Do not ask for separate checks unless you want to see an open expression of complete and utter disgust.
