I can't even give a rating because they don't have a negative star rating. The management got to greedy and over booked valentines day and destroyed what is supposed to be a nice evening with that special someone. I guess they really know how to treat their guests with respect? I don't think they expect people to come back ever again. It took over an hour to get seated from the time we made a reservation. Then it took another half hour to get your meal. We were all laughing at how crazy this place is and how stupid we were to pay $37.50 each to be abused and treated in this manner. What a shame to have destroyed their reputation in one night by greed and not being prepared for the crowds they gathered to the slaughter of the restaurant we all thought was above most in the Slidell area. Oooppppssss

We held the rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding here, and it was wonderful. All the work was done for me, and everyone raved about the food. The atmosphere was also perfect. My best friend attended and wants them to cater her daughter's wedding. She only wishes she lived closer so she could have the ceremony there. I highly recommend Palmetto's to everyone, especially if you are planning a special event.

I recently ate at Palmettos and enjoyed everything. The food was spectacular and the ambiance perfection! The tremendous covered deck that sits on Bayou Bonfouca is like no other. Our waiter informed us that they book many private events that I didn't know about. I had been to Palmettos a few years ago and the place has grown by leaps and bounds. The food choices and quality has really improved. I highly recommend trying Palmettos!! The best on the Northshore!!

Palmettos is my favorite place to eat in slidell. the food is traditional new orleans. Would not eat anywhere else.

You get great food and good service in a beautiful louisiana setting. From the antique home to the deck on the bayou.
