The care provided after hours is very low standard and the residents are not taken care of as in being turned every 2 hours, feed or changed for 5 or more hours and nurses not wanting to do their own primary patient care will not enforce aids to comply after hours. Diapers are doubled and call lights answered by scolding the residents of the time. Staff sleeps and watches movies while snacks and beverage are left on the cart. The residents are QUICKLY changed...into "one" diaper after all night laying unattended soiled...around 4-5 hours no rounds are done till wake up time some aids are not even using wipes on their urine soaked skin. Snacks in the residents rooms are removed and eaten by aids. Nurses talk on cell phones and also cat nap, eat at the desk, laughing and not enforcing proper patient care. Nurses even warn aids if visit may occur from anyone posing as a threat in higher rank or a higher standard staff member that night! Residents are yelled at for call lights and asking for ice or water. If you use this nursing home or rehab! hire a night time sitter to guard and care for your loved one because their is no security or cameras present or visits at 2:00 am from directors pulling back sheets! Boyfriends and friends are allowed inside the nursing home to visit staff after hours so be very aware of night time risks.
