Minisink Elementary School offers enrichment and academic programs to more than 650 students in kindergarten through grade two. It provides education in science, social studies and special education. In addition, academic intervention services are included for English, language arts and math. It has a parent-teacher-student association that manages various fundraising activities to enhance and enrich the learning experience of students and foster an environment of excellence in education. It also offers a range of support services, such as crisis management, peer mediation, parent consultation and development screenings. The school, located in Slate Hill, N.Y., offers a lunch program for all its students. Minisink Elementary School is administered by the Minisink Valley Central School District.
