- Investment ManagementMr. Brackenridge joined Newport Capital Partners in 2020 and is Managing Director of Investments. In this capacity, he is primarily responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and structuring of investment transactions. Additionally, he collaborates with other team members on investment strategy, capital markets, and portfolio management.
- Wealth ManagementMs. Allen has more than 12 years of experience focused on asset and portfolio management. Prior to joining Newport, she was an Asset Manager with Banner Real Estate Group. During her tenure, she implemented operational, asset management, and capital markets activities for the firm’s multifamily and self-storage assets with $1 billion+ in gross value. Prior to Banner Real Estate, she was an Associate with American Realty Advisors and assisted in the asset management oversight of office and industrial assets. Previously, she was an Associate of Finance and Investments with Starwood Retail Partners responsible for property and fund-level strategic planning, leasing, valuation and forecasting, and capital markets efforts of a $1.5 billion+ shopping mall and lifestyle center portfolio. She began her career as an Assistant Portfolio Officer in BNY Mellon’s Wealth Management Group.

- Retirement PlanningIn 2012 Newport Capital Partners was awarded a portfolio takeover assignment on behalf of five City of Chicago Pension Plans. Newport took over the DV Urban Realty Partners Fund I portfolio and has restructured, worked out and realized the entire portfolio while mitigating exposure to the limited partners. This included the $82 million ground up development of a multi-tenant, Mariano’s Grocery anchored project, located at 3030 North Broadway in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood. Newport has fully liquidated the DV Urban Portfolio.
- Asset ManagementMr. Smith joined Newport Capital Partners in 2019 and is a Vice President on the Asset Management team. In this capacity, he is primarily responsible for executing the strategic business plans of the Firm’s assets including leasing, financing and debt compliance, and implementing capital improvement plans. Additionally, he supports investor reporting, property valuations, maintains lender relationships, and assists with acquisitions, dispositions, and other investment decisions.
