I would recommend this company. We used Essex Painting to put our own colors in new loft condo. I live in a condo complex on Fullerton and Kimball. Our building maintenance company apparently uses Essex for their projects and recommended them. Felt very comfortable with the owner, he was not pushy and explained everything. Very good price, too.

We had our exterior and addition in Wilmette painted by Essex Painting back in 2000. A year later they worked on our neighbor's place. They did a thorough job on prep. Some older parts of the house just now started to peel, after 9 years. The owner keeps in touch, so I'm planning to give him a call this summer. Definitely recommend Essex--good work, good service, flexible, the work is warranted, although the actual job far outlasted their warranty. They were average on price, but worth every dollar, in my opinion.
