Skaneateles High School provides learning experiences for students in grades 9 through 12. It maintains a cafeteria, auditorium, gymnasium and guidance department. The school supports choir, drama, band and music activities. It conducts classes in computer technology, social studies, economics, math, physical education, and family and consumer science. Skaneateles High School also offers academic instruction related to automotive technology, agricultural business, cosmetology, food service, and heavy equipment repair and operation. It maintains a library media center that supports the academic curriculum and assists students in the use of current and appropriate information. The school operates a book club. It additionally offers memberships for the National Honor Society. Skaneateles High School is administered by Skaneateles Central Schools, which assists students in the development of problem-solving skills.
