The Sioux Falls School District Early Childhood Programs focuses on the lifelong development of children and school achievement and higher graduation rates. It assists individuals in becoming higher wage earners and preventing involvement in criminal activities. The program conducts early childhood screening services. The Sioux Falls School District Early Childhood Programs also offers multidisciplinary evaluation services for children with developmental delays up to age 3. It maintains a research-based curriculum and actively engages children in developmentally appropriate activities to encourage language, social, cognitive, adaptive and motor development.
