Diesel Machinery was originally established by the J.L. Healy Construction Company, which incorporated in South Dakota. J.L. Healy focused on highway construction and utility work within the Midwest. In 1982, the company formed Diesel Machinery as an equipment distributorship. Diesel Machinery represents manufacturers such as Alamo Industrial Mowers, Dynapac, Kolman, Paxton Mitchell, Talbert, Wildcat Manufacturing and Witzco Trailers.
