We were there on Sunday - 2-5-17 and we were disappointed with the way the place was. The last time we were there it was much better and it sure has gone down hill. We are not from Sioux City but do come once in while as we like Golden Corrals. The place was not very clean and the food was cold. So many of the containers were empty and not being filled. The salad bar had so much food along side empty containers and was not being cleaned up. The chocolate sauce container by the ice cream was filthy and empty. The ice cream tray below the ice cream was so dirty. When I complained to the manager he said "What am I to do - I can't get any help" I said "Maybe you should close the doors" It would be better than serving cold food and such bad service. The price we paid was crazy for what we got. We were not offered any adjustment or anything. We will not be coming back.

I was happy when the place got a new Manager..and at first he showed major imporovement. Then little by little place started to go down hill. Number 1 the food is COLD! and same old stuff all the time.. Talk about disappointment on the dessert bar. The 3 fountains. Choc is not milk choc. and the white is probably the best of the 3..but that isnt saying much..but the carmel is HORRIBLE..all watered down big time!

Golden Corral was awesome. Plenty of food, You will not go home hungry. They have a large quality of choices. Meatloaf is mmmm. They now have wings. Love wings. Tried the ones they had, Not sure, judgement is still out on the. I wanted steak. Service was not all that good, We had to get up to refill our soda glass twice, Ladiydid come by to get our empty plates, but that was all, no tip left for her, Bathroom stall for the handicapped had not lock on it. Did see management walking around but they never came to our table. They actully need billboards for directions to find it. With all the road construction, It was hard to find the place. Good thing we had a idea of where it was at. Good Food, I want more.. Price is around 13.00 with drink after 4 pm.

Food is good, always fresh, huge selection for everyone, clean & orderly, & nice mannerly wait staff. Basics like broasted chicken, roast beef & pork are consistently good. Great variety of vegetables you don't see at other restaurants. Salad bar is marvelous. Dessert bar is decadent. You have to control yourself because everything is good!
