I ate at Famous Dave's in Redding, CA (they just opened) food is really good but both times I got a very severe migraine. I e-mailed them to ask if they use MSG and then came across this post. I guess I won't be eating there anymore. :(
Everybody loves Famous Dave's & the food is good, a little pricey, BUT if you have a problem with MSG you DO NOT want to eat here! Almost everything on the menu has MSG in it. And not even the best ribs or barbeque in town - it is a chain restaurant! It tastes the same in every town.
The food at this Famous Dave's is plentiful and good. The service has always been very good!
