General Info

Augustana Lutheran Church was established as a Swedish Lutheran Church in May, 1875. We preserve elements of that identity even as we strive to respond to the needs of our contemporary world. We are a centrally located, downtown church eager to increase our outreach and evangelism and to better serve the diverse community in which we are situated. Our beautiful church building is a Sioux City Landmark and is on the National Registry of Historic Places. We have historically offered two worship services every Sunday morning.
