Bethel Elementary School enrolls more than 1,100 students in kindergarten through grade five. It provides classes in physical education, science, art, English and math. The school features a gymnasium and library and media center. Bethel Elementary School also offers special education programs for gifted and talented students. It has received the Red Carpet Award and operates a student council. The school additionally conducts chorus activities and after-school programs. Bethel Elementary School has a parent-teacher association. It is a part of Greenville County Schools, which operates elementary, middle and high schools. The district also maintains administration, human resources and instructional technology departments.
