Operating for more than 30 years, Cannon Road Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through grade five. The school employs a nurse, health technician, special education coordinator, occupational therapist, speech pathologist, guidance counselor, reading focus teacher and media specialist. The elementary school also employs several special education teachers. The elementary school has a parent-teacher association that works to enhance library resources, improve the building and grounds and provides materials and tuition for academic programs. Located in Silver Spring, Md., Cannon Road Elementary School s academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as English, math, science, social studies and language arts. The school also offers classes in music, physical education and art.
