Founded in 1969, the Nathanael Greene Academy is an educational institution that focuses on academics, athletics and fine arts. The school, also known as NGA, enrolls students in kindergarten through grade 12. Its Christ-centered curriculum includes math, science, social studies and language arts. The Nathanael Greene Academy serves the communities of Greene, Putnam, Hancock, Taliaferro, Wilkes and Morgan counties in Georgia. The school is a member of the Georgia Independent Schools Association and the Georgia Accrediting Commission. In addition, it offers a range of sports activities, such as tennis, softball, baseball, football, and track and field. The Nathanael Greene Academy operates a parent-teacher organization. The school s facilities feature a library and cafeteria. It publishes The NGA Literary Magazine and operates the Patriot Pride Booster Organization.
