Located in Sikeston, Mo., the 5th & 6th Grade Center offers classes in reading, math and science. The school provides character education incentive programs that focus on a good character trait of a student. The 5th & 6th Grade Center offers awards to students for good attendance and discipline, as well as reading skills. It maintains playgrounds and computer and music rooms. The school is a part of Sikeston R-6, which maintains kindergarten, elementary and high schools, as well as alternative education centers. It operates a parent-teacher organization, as well as conducts before- and after-school care programs. Sikeston Public Schools also provides special education classes.
