Vin Prabhat, MD, FACS received his undergraduatedegree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, where he graduated Magna Cum Laudeand with Phi Beta Kappa honors. He then graduatedmedical school at Cornell University Medical College inNew York City with honors in Otolaryngology and alsoreceived the prestigious James A. Moore prize in otology.Dr. Prabhat subsequently completed internship andresidency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York Cityand became board-certified in Otolaryngology / Head &Neck Surgery in 1998. He then completed a fellowship inFacial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery through EmoryUniversity in Atlanta in 1999 and became board-certifiedin Facial Plastic Surgery in 2000. He is currently servingas the Chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology atMonmouth Medical Center and is the Co-Director of theHead and Neck Cancer Center.Dr. Prabhat has been the recipient of numerous honors—including being honored multiple times as one of “NJ'sTop Docs”—as well as one of “America's Top Surgeons”and “America's Top Physicians”. His work has beenfavorably chronicled in many major newspaper andmagazine articles. Dr. Prabhat's interests include thesurgical management of thyroid and parathyroid disease,head and neck oncology, advanced sinus surgery includingballoon sinuplasty, rhinoplasty, and pediatric surgery.

Aftwr being a life long allergy sufferer and going through multiple medications without relief, Dr. Prabhat diagnosed my nasal polyps. I had no sense of smell and cousins breathe out of my nose for years. After surgery and a recommendation to start dupixent and allergy shots, my nasal polyps are completely gone, and I can smell and breathe better than I can ever remember.
