      General Info
      Central Jersey Blood Center is a nonprofit center providing blood and blood products to the hospitals. It offers services to a wide range of primary hospitals, including Bayshore Community Hospital, CentraState Medical Center, Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Ocean Medical Center, and Riverview Medical Center. The center also provides services to several secondary hospitals, such as Community Medical Center, Raritan Bay Medical Center, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, St. Barnabas Medical Center and St. Joseph Hospital. It offers blood supplies and organizes from mobile blood drives sponsored by area businesses, communities, schools and several organizations. The center provides several programs that include autologous and directed blood programs. Central Jersey Blood Center was founded in 1965, and is located in Shrewsbury, N.J.
