The worst meal we have had in a long time. Bland food. Tasteless. No sauce or salsa for the tacos. Just no flavor at all.

Charged us for doubles on our drinks. We never ever have ordered a double anywhere.

And no water until I yelled across kitchen to please bring us water.

Called manager, a woman, about 11 a.m. next day and this was first time I ever called a place to issue a complaint on food or drinks or price. Regarding the drinks she said let me pull up the cost to see, mmmm, it said they should have been $10. Not. Mmmm. Said nothing when I said we never ever have requested a double anything.

Did say we never serve water unless it is asked for. And we never put sauces or salsa on table. Even with tacos?? No. Who waited on you. Told her. Silence. So I simply said that was our first visit and our last, we will never be back. The drinks were terrible, the food lousy and the cost unreal. Silence.

Too many really good places to go than there. I will be watching to see how long the last. Do not think it will be long and when they shut down I will surely understand. I so looked forward to finally trying the place but oboy. Never again. A waste of money and a sad excuse for a meal.

My wife and I ate at Tejas last weekend and overall it was a good experience. The service was prompt and the food good although everything I ate or tasted had a chile flavor including the dirty rice which I didn't care for. The restaurant is stated to be southwestern. When we were there it wasn't very noisy but I can see if one was there during a busy time it would be quite noisy because the acoustics are not the best . Also parking might be a problem
