Caddo Parish Magnet High School, located in Shreveport, La., offers a variety of educational courses to students in grades nine through 12. Its advanced-placement courses includes subjects, such as English, physics, calculus, biology, chemistry, art history, psychology, American history and European history. The school offers architectural, basic and technical drafting classes to students and provides classes in foreign languages, including French, German, Italian, Latin, Japanese and Spanish. Caddo Parish Magnet High School offers four-year gifted and talented high school programs. Its intramural program provides a wide range of individual and team sports, such as volleyball, badminton, gymnastics and adventure sports. Its band program includes classes in beginning band, intermediate band, advanced band and jazz ensemble.
