Caddo Parish Clerk of Court maintains civil and domestic divisions. The office receives and files various pleadings, such as petitions, answers and exceptions in civil matters. Caddo Parish Clerk of Court is responsible for receiving and filling pleadings, such as indictments and other filings in criminal matters. It is also responsible for the supervision of voting machines and tabulating votes during elections. The office also conducts schools for commissioners and custodians to learn about their duties on Election Day. Additionally, Caddo Parish Clerk of Court maintains the records and minutes of several juvenile cases, as well as issues marriage licenses.
