General Info
The Shoreline Conference Center is located on the I-5 corridor of the Greater Seattle Area, bordering the north city limits of Seattle in a residential neighborhood of Shoreline, Washington. Once Shoreline High School, the facility is now the home of the central offices of Shoreline School District, several local non-profit agencies, and the Shoreline Conference Center. The forty acre campus also includes the Shoreline Stadium ; a venue for local and regional school sports events, the Spartan Gym ; a multi-use community facility jointly owned and operated by Shoreline School District and the City of Shoreline, and the Shoreline / Lake Forest Park Senior Center ; a community support center and gathering place for senior citizens. The Conference Center hosts a wide variety of events from small meetings and workshops to large conferences and conventions, and social gatherings such as community banquets and wedding receptions. The warm and friendly staff of the Shoreline Conference Center, one of the ten largest event venues in the Seattle area, is pleased to provide professional and personalized service to each of our clients. The hallways of the Shoreline Conference Center serve as a gallery for art work created by students of Shoreline School District, which is enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. Works by local professional artisans are also displayed in the on site gallery of the Shoreline Lake Forest Park Arts Council. Just minutes away from the shores of both Puget Sound and Lake Washington, the area surrounding the Shoreline Conference Center offers a wide variety of options for local lodging, food and recreation. Shopping opportunities are available just a few miles south at Northgate Mall and north at Alderwood Mall, both of which contain hundreds of national and local businesses. Downtown Seattle and the historic Seattle Center, home of the Space Needle are just ten miles to the south. Owned and operated by Shoreline School District, the Shoreline Conference Center proudly allocates its proceeds to the general fund of the 10, 000 student District to support its operations and award winning programs.
