King's Elementary School provides learning opportunities to students in kindergarten through grade six. Its academic curriculum includes courses in English, math, computer technology, science and social studies. The school also offers classes in Spanish, and vocal and instrumental music. It conducts field trips to children's theaters, science centers, farms, zoos, museums and camps. King's Elementary School additionally organizes Christmas and spring concerts, math Olympiads, and awards and graduation ceremonies. The school maintains a parent-teacher association, as well as offers classes in arts and crafts. Located in Shoreline, Wash., King's Elementary School is a part of King s Schools, which is a private Christian school. King s Schools, founded in 1950, also operates several high and middle schools.
