The best restaurant in whole Pike County. The food, selection of wines, martinis, atmosphere, service and prices for this high quality food. No other restaurant nearby can compete with Peter's. The owner, Peter, is extremely nice, very welcoming host and excellent chef.

The Garlic Soup is a Fiesta for your mouth. The menu here is innovative. They aren't afraid to try new things, but it seems that none of these new things are experimental, they all seem like they've been well tested. The food is very consistant. Every time I go I order the Garlic soup and every single time it's fabulous. The wine list is very impressive. I believe the owner/chef, Peter, used to be with Garden of Eden in Milford which is gone and now the River Rock is in that space. If you liked the Garden of Eden you'll like this place. The bar atmosphere is sophisticated, like an upscale NYC place. I never hesitate to bring a client to Peter's for dinner because I know it will be a great meal and a great evening, and that reflects well on me. It's rather amazing to me to have a gem like this place out in the middle of of scenic Rt 6 going up past Shohola. I very highly recommend this restaurant.
