If you need a bike or need your old bike put back in good running order, this is the place to go.The owner and his small parrot are both friendly (though the parrot is a bit shy)The shop is very no-frills, with bike parts - old and new - all over the place. But don't be put off by that. It's the wrench that makes a bike shop. And the owner/wrench here is as decent a human as you can find on the planet. On one visit, I saw him oil a homeless guy's chain (gratis), then loan a kid the right wrench to tighten up the pegs on his BMX. And that was in a matter of ten minutes.And... he knows stuff about bikes. Lots of stuff! And if he doesn't have an answer, he'll tell you and not try to snow you.The shop sells new bikes and parts, tires, etc. But this guy doesn't push anything on you.I have four shops closer, but I always bike/drive the extra couple miles to The Bike Factory.Ride on...
