Shelby Middle School is a part of Cleveland County Schools, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. Shelby Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as math, science, social studies and English. The school offers a variety of extracurricular programs in technology exploration, art, music, chorus, orchestra, and health and physical education. In addition, the school offers behavioral support, occupational and speech therapies, and guidance and counseling services its students.
