Acquiring Gordon Chemical Company in 1956, and merging with Johnson Chemical Company, PBI/Gordon obtained specialty products, initially offered to private label customers. Targeting the agricultural and lawn and garden markets under the Gordon s brand name, Private Brands became PBI/Gordon Corporation. With a reputation for quality products, customer service and business integrity, PBI/Gordon is a major force in the turf industry. The company offers more than 40 products designed for golf courses and other professional turf and ornamental managers. A force in the lawn and garden industry, a marketer of agricultural products and a pioneer of professional turf and ornamental products, PBI/Gordon is employee owned and maintains its head office in Kansas City, Mo.
