As the daughter of a nurse, Elizabeth Beal, MD, knew she wanted to devote her life to helping others. Dr. Beal felt called to practice medicine through her love of helping people and a passion for learning. She worked as a nurse aid in high school and college and loved learning, so becoming a doctor was her next goal. Dr. Beal received her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed her family medicine residency at Research Medical Center. As a member of both the American Academy of Family Physicians and Kansas Academy of Family Physicians, she has a passion for treating patients of all ages. When not serving the needs of others, Dr. Beal stays healthy by swimming, water skiing and bicycling. She also enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and playing piano.
