0Douglas Pump did a great job for me after hours balancing an impeller. All the people there are friendly and knowledgeable.
In response to complaint: I came out as a courtesy and checked the site. I found it was not winthin our scope of work, then I researched to find the number to call for the manufacturing representative for the equipment. Because you were a third party maintenance locator, it complicated communications. We have a full staff available at our shop to answer calls, including emergency service 24/7.
Most of our customers are municipalities. We do maintenance for the equipment on both fresh water and wastewater of cities in Kansas and Missouri.
This business deserves NO STARS!!!!!!! If you don't want to do the work, say so in the beginning, don't jerk someone around, that is how we feed our families.
Mike Douglas of Douglas Pump Service, this clown is a jerk!! . Called him placed a request, he told me that he was super busy but he could get to it on an assigned date. Never told me he went to site, I had to call and call and call, finally he told me he couldn't help me but knew someone who could, he would call back with number. Never did, I called him again and then he gave me a bogus number. He told me on the phone that he works with Municipalities and doesn't really have time for this type of work.
