Antioch Middle School serves students in grades seven and eight. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as math, science, social studies and language arts. The school also offers a range of student programs in fine arts, music and physical education. In addition, Antioch Middle School conducts sessions in world languages and industrial technology. Its staff includes teachers, educational aides, paraprofessionals, specialists, librarians, and cafeteria and custodial employees. The school provides medical care, speech pathology and guidance counseling services to students. Antioch Middle School is a part of the Shawnee Mission School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools.
