Poplar Road Elementary School, located in Sharpsburg, Ga., is a public school that offers educational and extracurricular programs to students in grades kindergarten through five. The school has a student strength of more than 700 students and offers subjects, such as language arts, social studies, science, mathematics, music, art and health and physical education. The institution also has an amphitheater and nature trail named the Millennium Amphitheater and Nature Trail. Its media center has classroom collections of tree and insect guidebooks. It also offers hand lens, bug boxes and microscope to offer students a closer view of specimens. Poplar Road Elementary School is affiliated with the Coweta County School System.
