The Seymour Aquatic Center features eight-lane competition and zero depth activity pools. It has a ramp and chair lift for individuals with special needs. The center also includes a diving well and locker rooms. The Seymour Aquatic Center conducts adult, lap and athletic swim programs. The center organizes physical education classes. In addition, it offers swimming lessons. The Seymour Aquatic Center is a part of the Seymour Community School District, which provides a variety of educational opportunities to students in kindergarten through grade 12. The district has an enrollment of more than 2,400 students. It operates the Rock Ledge Primary Center, Seymour Middle School and Seymour High School.
