Dr. Santerini received her undergraduate degree from Allegheny College in Meadville and her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Florida Health Science Center. She was chief of obstetrics and gynecology with the 347th Medical Group at Moody Air Force Base in Georgia and then served as a staff obstetrician/gynecologist at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia. She joined Premier Womens Health in 1998. Dr. Santerini is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.She has over 20 years of experience practicing medicine and has received academic achievements and awards including Outstanding Resident Laparoscopic Surgeon. She has particular clinical interest in preventive womens health care, obstetrics, labor and delivery, menopause management, urinary incontinence, gynecological oncology, minimally invasive surgery (including in-office tubal sterilization), menstrual disorders and benign gynecologic conditions. Dr. Santerini holds memberships with many professional organizations including the Pennsylvania Medical Society, the Allegheny County Medical Society, the Pittsburgh Obstetrical and Gynecological Society and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
