Dr. Woods is board certified in and serves as an Assistant Professor in Orthopaedic and Neurological spine surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Woods completed his residency program in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh and went on to complete his Spine Surgery fellowship at The Rothman Institute.Dr. Woods has conducted extensive research in the field of orthopaedics and continues to do so, specifically in the treatment of cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine pathologies. He has authored numerous publications, book chapters, abstracts, and poster and podium presentations and is a member of a number of professional societies, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
