I used to buy my tires at Southern Star Tire in Seneca.. I took my truck there to get my Emergency brakes repaired. After the inspection,the cleark told me that the back brakes were compleatly worn out. He gave me a high quote, and I left. I took it to another place. He checked the back brakes. He told me that the brake pads were good. All it needed was a small Adjusting cabel. $4.00. BEWARE OF SOUTHERN STAR IN SENECA SC.

I give them a perfect five-great service, saved over $100 on set of four truck tires from a national discounter. They are very thorough when assessing your vehicle. Great folks to do business with!!

Although they seem to do a reasonably good job with all work I've had done there, there's a few cons about Southern Star:- 1) they are relatively expensive in the work they do, 2)they typically leave your car handles, steering wheel, etc a little dirty/greasy, and 3) they don't seem to like to answer questions about the work that they need to do or already did, on your car (they don't like being questioned)

WHAT A GREAT PLACE TO BUY TIRES AND AUTO SERVICE. WENT TO BUY TIRES AND THEY NOTICE I NEEDED BRAKES NEEDLESS TO SAY I HAVE USED ANOTHER SHOP DOWN THE ROAD FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND THEY NEVER NOTICED ANYTHING WITH MY CAR. THE GUYS THERE ATSOUTHERN STAR TOOK ME BACK TO MY CAR AND SHOWED ME MY BELTS AND MY BREAKES AND MY NASTY ANTIFREEZE. I PROMISE THIS IS MY SHOP FOR LIFE THEY ARE THE ONLY HONEST PEOPLE I KNOW
