My wife, myself and 3 kids have all been going to Haircutter in the Meadow for over ten years. My wife has her hair highlighted colored and cut by Sachiko and once a year with Hikaru for Japanese Straightening. She is the best looking mom on our whole block. I go to Niko for barbering service and my kids go to anyone who is available. We love this place.

I've been going there for 4 years now. I jumped around from hair salon to hair salon( trying to find the right one, I really actually like this place. I think the staff is wonderful, funny, and experienced. Love it there. There's probably bad reviews because it is pricey but it's pricey because it's in an area near many hotels. I think it's a smart buisness choice.

HORRIBLE. BEWARE before providing your credit/debit card details to them.



They charged my credit card twice and deducted tip amount from my card them-self without my permission even after I paid tip in cash. I came to know it when searched through my card transactions.



When I called Mr. Rob (owner), he was soo mean with his behavior. So cheap customer service and fraud using customer bank details!

I have been going to this salon for over 6 years and its amazing what they can do with hair. Imagine me before, blonde scouring pad hair in an uneven random shape, but afterwards, amazingly silky straight hair. An incredible transformation. My stylist is Sachiko, but the other stylists are amazing, too. They do everything from shampoo, cut, blow out, to Japanese straightening and Brazilian straightening (I highly recommend this)- plus I hear that they are starting a spa in the back. Norkiko did my mani pedi last week and its incredible, looks like it was just done and perfect details. Make sure to check it out!

Horrible hair color service. That was the first time ever I had my hair colored. It incompletely damaged my hair and made them too dry. Either the chemicals used by them were too harsh or she overdid it. I used to have very silky and oily hair but now they are dull, damaged and dry. It has been a year since Sachiko colored my hair and gave highlights. They are still so damaged that I curse them every time I have to comb my hair. I just want to chop them off completely.



Please stay away. Also the manicure was a total waste of money. The staff is very friendly and nice but totally inefficient in terms of the service provided and money charged.

Stay away! I've been going there for 11 years. They are charging long time customers $20 for toner and conditioner now. Times must be tough for them but this is no way to treat a client.

Place is amazing. I never go anywhere else. The first time I went there, Kaity Tong was there getting her hair done and she looked great too. I still see TV personalities from time to time, mostly News People. I recommend them to everyone I know.
