      General Info
      We are pleased to announce that we are changing our name from Gottman Institute to Gottman Relationship Institute. While the Gottman name is already very widely recognized in academic and professional therapist circles, we have learned over the years that there are many people in the general public who have yet to learn about his research, the Gottman Method of couples therapy, or his work on developing emotional intelligence in children. It is our hope that by adding the word "relationship" to our name, the general public will have a better understanding of who we are and how we can be of assistance to them.
