Renters beware. Don't expect your deposit back no matter what, this company will keep your money. Rented from for 2 years. I've never called a landlord for minor things like a light burning out, I just replace the bulb myself. This company withheld $172 for burned out lightbulbs. Just total scammers, stay away
Thank you RD House! My husband and I moved to Tucson for work reasons, & I called a few places about renting and managing our home here in Seattle while we were gone. Ricky D, I guess I should say Rd House team is what I needed. I inherited four apartment buildings when my late husband passed. I knew nothing about property management, building repairs or collecting rents. My husband was sick for months before he passed and everything just lapsed. I really didn’t understand that most of my lively hood was invested in those four broken down places. That was three years ago.

R.D. House knew exactly what I needed and they deliver. Most of my units rent in less than 25 days, they rent them to solid tenants so there rarely are late rents or other issues; the building is kept in top shape, I get my money by the 8th every month, with an online statement and direct deposit – a great use of common technology that seems rare in this business. And Ricky, the Owner/Broker- he’s great to work with. Being this good, I’m sure he’s got a big chunk of the business in seattle property management , but you’d never know it, he makes me feel like I’m the most important client he’s got.
When I was buying an apartment building, I looked at all the major seattle property management companies, including the online reviews. To be honest, I don’t give the anonymous reviews much weight, because they usually are all negative- I guess only the unhappy people post these. Even little neighborhood restaurants and bars have predominantly negative reviews! (There is one seattle property management company that has nothing but positive reviews all the way down the line…suspicious as well). Here’s the deal- go with the ones who know their business and can deliver the goods, and RD House does exactly that.
