Dr. Zook is a board-certified dermatologist, specializing in medical, surgical and aesthetic dermatology. She has special interest and expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of vulvar skin conditions. In addition to lecturing nationally on vulvar skin conditions, she is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of Washington, where she taught dermatology and gynecology students and residents in the Vulvar Dermatology Clinic for 12 years. She is also an expert in skin-related breastfeeding issues and enjoys her role as a local resource to lactation consultants and other referring providers. She has been recognized as one of Seattle’s Top Doctors by Seattle Metropolitan Magazine multiple years. Prior to founding Spectrum Dermatology of Seattle, she worked at the Polyclinic for 8 years, then at Dermatology Associates in Seattle for nearly 4 years. Dr. Zook grew up in Seattle, attending Garfield High School and rowing on Greenlake. She attended Cornell University, then returned home to Seattle for medical school at the University of Washington. After an intern year in OB/Gyn, she decided to pursue a Dermatology residency, both at the University of Washington. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, skiing, running, hiking and camping.
