Diagnostic $50 Basic service charge to come out to your home inspect the furnace tell you what's wrong and give you a flat rate estimate for the repair Routine Maintenance and Inspection $125 Complete safety inspection and maintenance on gas or electric furnace inspect heat exchangers, clean burners, pilot orifice, vacuum lines, blower end bell, vacuum burner enclosure and blower compartments. For Diagnostic and Routine Maintenance and inspection charges-most furnaces, attics, crawl spaces, and tough access, may be more.

I highly recomend Affordable Furnca Repair. They came out at the time they promised and fixed my furnace in under a 1/2 hr. It was a problem with my gas valve and all the big repair companies would have just replaced the whole valve. Don took a look and fixed a loose contact and had it running in no time. He also did the routine maintance that my furnace needed and he only charged me for the maintance. Not only is my furnace running its working better than ever! Other companies try to make you pay upfront for service contracts and unnneeded over priced work. Affordable furnace does what needs to be done at a reasonable price. They will be the company I call now for my heating system needs.
great service, on-time, quick and thorough. Don was willing to answer all of my questions and even came back when i had another concern and didn't charge me. the whole service call was about what most of the other guys would charge just to out. i will definitely use them again.

Told us that our furnace had a CO2 leak and that we needed to buy a new $4000 unit. Had a second company inspect it and found no leak...just a very filthy filter that needed to be replaced. When we confronted them about it they called PSE out to us (they reported a gas leak!) PSE found no leaks CO2 or otherwise. This company scams people. Stay away.

""Affordable Furnace Repair" gets the job done. I have called Don twice for emergency repair and both times he arrived within a few hours to investigate and he repaired. Furnace was up and running without problem recurring ~ both times. Don, unlike larger contractors/companies, braved the freezing cold temp and snow to get to us the last of the two emergencies we have had ~ we had no heat. I cannot thank him enough! My neighbor recommended Affordable Furnace Repair. I have used them twice now for installation and maintenance. Don completed the work quickly, efficiently, and completely. He explained everything as he went and the rates were excellent. I highly recommend them!. .
Hi:I just shivered my way through the past week with a malfunctioning furnace and worries about how to pay for the repair. My frustration was compounded by my sense that the problem was a simple one. In vain, I reset the breaker, flipped the furnace switch, and eyeballed the interior with the hope that the solution would materialize before my eyes. Well, Don Blundell from Affordable Furnace Repair showed up, fixed the problem in five minutes, and charged me nothing for the service. I couldn't believe it. His kindness came at a provident time since I am not exactly rolling in the cash right now.

Where to start? I had intermittent furnace issues that baffled 3 different repair companies over a period of almost 5 years. One well known company came out THREE times, each time leaving once they got my furnace running but never actually repairing it. I became so frustrated and that I quit calling anyone and just suffered. Then I finally broke down, did a Google search and called Affordable out of the blue. Don came out and went through a crazy process of elimination. Rather than making a guess at the problem and "fixing" the guess, he was completely unafraid to discard any failed theory and move on to the next possibility. My main problem turned out to be a collection of smaller issues which added up to a large ventilation problem. Don squared away all of it quickly and kept me in the loop the whole way. My after hours emergency call cost me less - including a replacement part that I broke - than a regular visit from one of the pretenders. Look no further, people. Call Don first.
