Provided by YP.comCompletely ripped off and strung along for over a week. Worst customer and salon service I have ever or could ever imagine receiving.
I got OPI gel the afternoon before leaving on a redeye for Canada because I was so excited to take a break after an unpaid 8 month internship. There was some paint overage on my nails, which I didn't understand would be too hard to scrape off in the shower, so I left. The technician told me the nails were guaranteed for three days, but that they would last for two weeks. The next day in transit a nail that I thought had a heavy paint stroke popped and leaked wet paint. The nails with extra paint started snagging on bedsheets, my hair, and lifting up when I wrote. Others had squishy air pockets. I knew I wouldn't be home the next three days let alone able to make an appointment. I figured the long distance and the roaming fees weren't worth it -- but I was distracted by my nails enough to toy with calling California.
When I got back my nails were chip free, but peeling in rubbery strips that I couldn't stick down with my nail polish at home. I went back to Ulta and waited until a stylist noticed I needed help. I asked to buy a gel polish to "glue" my nails back down. The girl told me the didn't sell it, but asked what was going on, looked at my nails and invited to replace them. She said she wasn't sure if she could or if the first girl would have to redo it herself. She would ask the manager and give me a call, if not she would do it Tuesday.
Never got a call, had to call and explain twice, got set up with an appointment and billed because no one passed on my information.
After dinner I go home, go to sleep, wake up and find that my nails are all raising off like putrid blisters. I called in and said I had them done the night before and I at least had to have them removed before work.
The woman on the phone starts asking if they did the nails right. There have been so many problems, she doesn't think people are doing all the steps. She insists than I make an appointment with her because SHE will do it right. When I'm getting them removed, she calls over a coworker who says, "I can't believe she let you leave like that, who did it?" followed by a lot of knowing eye rolling. She tells me there are a ton of unexperienced girls working there now. She asked me to make an appointment that was good for her, but tight for me, and that was ok, hey its free and I can get the hell away from here... in a couple days.
When I finally get myself down to the salon to have the whole thing fixed for all, in the middle of ruffing up my nails she asks how I liked them shaped. I told her "before I forget to mention it" to watch out for a nail that had been filed too thin and was painful. Like a waking nightmare, she goes, "Oh and just so you know, I can't comp your nails for you - we only do it once after it 'chips' and that's it."
I walked out. I've never felt so conned before.
a: I didn't ask to have my nails redone, the salon offered
b: the guarantee I got the first time around was just "three days" period, not one time only
c: I paid for them to be redone, even though I had been told I wouldn't have to
d: they never chipped from wear, they were applied wrong and didn't stay on. I never had them done right, paid twice, and the second time it lasted less than 12 hours.
I might have gotten a hair cut here, but considering their technicians are their stylists, I can't be sure they will take care of me if I'm unhappy with it. So much wasted time, gas and stress for nothing.

Provided by YP.comSells awesome products but had my hair done and Noeletta gave me a choppy haircut and I can blow dry my poodle's hair better than she did mine ... not worth the money!
