Mack Stove Company was originally founded in 1924 in Detroit, Michigan by Frank Mack. The Mack Stove Company began manufacturing and selling stoves for heating and cooking. Mr. Mack retired in the early 1950's and moved to the Monterey Peninsula. Not one to retire easily, he opened the Mack Stove Company in downtown Monterey in 1960 to supply the peninsula with major appliance sales, service and replacement parts. Purchased by the current owner, Daniel Spaletta, in 1977, is also known today as MSC Distributors, selling equipment and replacement parts, accessories and supplies for HVAC, food service, commercial laundry, major appliances and many others.
