West Scranton High School is operated by the Scranton School District. The school offers classes from grades nine through 12 and enrolls more than 1,200 students. It offers a comprehensive educational program which encourages students to develop academic skills and personal qualities to maximize potential. Its sports activities include soccer, cross country, football, basketball, tennis, golf, wrestling and swimming.
