Waste Not is a food bank, feeding thousands of hungry people every day. Located in Scottsdale, Ariz., the organization collects an average of 6,000 pounds of excess perishable food daily from restaurants, resorts, caterers, grocers and various food purveyors. It delivers the food the same day to more than 100 diverse agencies which feed the hungry, including schools, day care centers, rehabilitation centers, transition homes and senior facilities. Waste Not has partnerships with U.S. Airways, Nina Mason Pullium Charitable Trust and BHHS Legacy Foundation.
