DO NOT PLACE YOUR RELATIVE OR LOVED ONE IN THIS FACILITY. It was listed on a list of special focus facilities as recently as last year. Those are the worst nursing homes in America based on medicare reviews etc. My mom fell out of one of their beds - or so they said. She could not move enough to fall out of bed. They forgot to lower the bed - she had a gash on her arm and 5 days after the fall she died. Her condition deteriorated rapidly until she was in a coma and could not even speak. They continued to deny anything was wrong. The nurses and the hospice nurse where she was sent after she was transferred out of this facility and to a hospital ALL said they thought she might have had a head injury. The hospice nurse recommended I file a complaint . They were all convinced she had been the victim of negligent care. Of course, the facility failed to document some key pieces of information and got away with it. i have heard similar reports from people who had loved ones in this facility.
