We can't get enough of Los Sombreros amazing food and the patio atmosphere is perfect 80% of the year. You truly won't find anywhere else like it in Scottsdale. We've brought along our toddler the last few times as we couldn't resist the enticement of Pollo con espinaca and they have been very accommodating

Love to sit outside on the Patio on a cool night and sip a NICE margarita with the TOP SHELF tequila. Not to mention the FRESH guacamole is so memorable I am drooling a bit writing this review. Real people serving authentic Mexican food with a smile.

Great carnita tacos, guacamole, and fast service. Affordable bill, and the drinks are loaded! I highly recommend.

"Wow I consider myself a Mexican food connoisseur, The food at Los Sombreros is exquisite. It is central Mexican quinine. The lamb adobo is out of this world, a lamb shank in a rich adobo sauce with grilled vegies, beans, tortillas,soooooo good.

This is the only place I know of that actually has great mole, the carnitas are wonderful. The new shrimp dish dazzled me. We fight over the Mexican chocolate pie every time. This is making me want to go back now."

I didn’t eat here but I did hang out and have drinks and chips. The chips were good but the salsa was Fabulous! I probably had 4 bowls of it. Once again, I got my favorite Cruz Tequila Margarita. Steve behind the bar recommended it and made me a delicious one with gran marnier? whatever it was, it was delicious and we had 2 each at the table. I always like a place that recommends my favorite drinks! I would go back, the drinks are good and the atmosphere was nice.

This is more authentic Mexican food -- not the type that's smothered with cheddar cheese or the salsa that you're used to seeing in a jar. Quesadillas are not the type that you would find at say, a Chili's -- two large flour tortillas with some cheese in the middle. They're made of fresh masa and are stuffed with rajas, and are more akin to fried turnovers than your standard Americanized quesadilla. Other than the quesadillas, we ordered the mole verde and seafood tacos, both of which were excellent. The chips came with two types of salsa. I was a huge fan of the chunkier spicier one. Even the veggies were good -- not the standard onion and pepper mix, and perfectly cooked.

What my girlfriend and I experienced was fantastic food, wonderful service and just as I remembered it, a great atmosphere had a tasty margarita, just the classic. We ordered the guacamole to complement our chips and salsa; which by the way comes with two salsas, one that is chunky and sweet with a small hint of heat, the other seemed to be tomatillo based and was equally good. The guacamole was just as I remembered, chunky and delicious. My girlfriend tried the Enchiladas de pollo. She loved the flavor of the smoked chicken. I had Puerco en Chipotle, which is slow roasted pork in a tomatillo-chipotle sauce. It was darn good. I didn't eat too much of my sides because I had consumed so much guacamole and the pork was just too good! We were there on a Saturday night about 1900 and were seated immediately on the patio. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive.

Best meal I've had in years. Fresh, unique flavor, perfect variety. Thank you our compliments to the chef and service staff. We will be back.

I was visiting my sister and her family with my family and she told me we had to try this restaurant, so we went. All around it was a great experience for the grown ups as well as the kids. Both the service and the food was very good. Great atmosphere. We used a groupon. So good deal.

I was in Scottsdale with a friend in mid September, and after a long day at the Indian market, we stopped here for dinner. It was a little hard to find for an out-of-towner in the dark during a torrential thunderstorm and a doozy of a flash flood. My GPS was all, whatever you're on your own... We eventually found our way and discovered the place was packed, on a Sunday night, during terribly inclement weather. But we decided we'd like to give it a go rather than swim back through the parking lot to our car. Which we hoped was indeed still in the parking lot and not floating down the road. Los Sombreros was totally worth it I loved the food here, and I can see why it was so busy. For the appetizer we had the crab queso fundido. And for my entree, well I stayed in the same theme with the crab and cilantro cream enchiladas. It was so good. I like that they offered a variety and not the same ole run of the mill items. I think it just may be worth the drive to revisit and try some of the other items.

Their Mexican food here is very unique and very DELICIOUS !!! I come here every once in a while and they already know my name and already know what I want to order! Great customer service and the bartender is super nice.

Delicious! The food was great and our waiter was excellent and was very attentive to our needs. This has to be my favorite place in Phoenix to eat some good Mexican food. Thank You for the great food and experience here!

This place was great! Our waiter was actually nice and gave us a lot of attention and made sure we had a full glass of our drinks and asked if we needed anything. We decided to try this place out since we had a groupon and I am sure glad we did the food was great, the services was excellent and all of that for a good price. I will definitely be back.

Food was excellent. I had the crab enchiladas. I just love them. So so good. The service was nice and our waiter was absolutely on the ball. Had a nice margy before dinner to start things off. Overall a very nice evening out.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Scottsdale. Excellent service by the servers. Excellent food and drinks. My suggestion.... Try the Cadillacs. They are so great!
